6. Contract description:
The subject of this contract is to supply, delivery, unloading, installation, and put into operation agricultural machinery for various mechanization centers in the governorates of Minia and Fayoum (Egypt) in order to support the agricultural mechanization process in Egypt:

* Potato Planter 2 Rows
* Potato Haulm Topper 2 Rows
* Potato Digger, 2 Rows

* Sugar Beet Haulm Topper
* Sugar Beet Loader
* Combine
* Straw Baler
* Bale Loader
* Forage Harvester
Participation is open to Italian natural persons who are nationals of and Italian Legal persons (participating either individually or in grouping –consortium-of tenderers) which are effectively established in Italy.
Before the signature of the contract, the awarded tenderer must provide the list of authorized proof of agreement with the above-mentioned agents duly signed by the parties, must also be provided.
All supplies under this contract must have Italian origin and purchased in Italy for at least 80% of the lot, Supplies of non- Italian origin (OECD countries, Egypt and other neighboring countries) can cover a value up to 20% of the lot.

All written communications for this tender procedure and contract musty be in English
10 – Legal Basis:
The Loan Agreement signed by the Government of Italy represented by the Ambassador of Italy in Egypt and the Government of Egypt represented by the Minister of International Cooperation on 14th March 2015,including Annex 1 ( Project Document) and Annex 2 (Eligibility criteria, Ethical Clauses, Contract General Principles)

The Financial Agreement signed by Artigiancassa ( later on re-called “ Cassa Depositi e Prestiti” or Italian Financial Institution in this tender dossier) and the Government of Egypt represented by the Central Bank of Egypt on 30th November ,including Annexes from A to E.
The Implementing Agreement signed by the MALR and CIHEAM Bari on 3rd September 2016.
Remarks:
There must be a minimum period of 30 Calendar Days between the publication on the MALR’s website of the prior information notice and the publication of the corresponding contract notice.
